The fortress Europe kills – Spontaneous demonstration against the murderous refugee policy

The refugee camp Moria on the Greek island of Lesbos has recently been strongly criticised from various sides: Originally built for 3000 people, today 12’000 refugees are beeing held there under the most miserable conditions in every way.
Yesterday a fire broke out in the middle of Moria and due to the circumstances in the camp the surrounding containers quickly caught fire as well. Instead of evacuating people the Police blocked all emergency exits out of the camp and used tear gas, batons and blinding grenades against those who wanted to escape from the fire. Several people died.
We don’t want to accept the murderous refugee policy of the European countries and we show solidarity with all those who have fled. That’s why we are meeting today, Monday 30. September at 19.00 at the Bahnhofplatz in Bern.

Spontankundgebung gegen die mörderische Flüchtlingspolitik
HEUTE: Montag 30.9. / 19.00 Uhr / Bahnhofplatz Bern
Das Lager Moria auf der griechischen Insel Lesbos wurde auch in jüngster Zeit von verschiedenen Seiten vehement kritisiert: Ursprünglich für maximal 3000 Personen gebaut, werden darin heute über 12.000 Geflüchtete eingesperrt – unter in jeder Hinsicht miserabelsten Bedingungen. Als gestern Mitten in Moria ein Feuer ausbrach, sprang dies bedingt durch die Umstände im Camp schnell auf umstehende Container über. Statt die Menschen zu evakuieren, sperrte die Polizei aber sämtliche Fluchtwege aus dem Lager ab und setzte Tränengas, Schlagstöcke und Blendgranaten gegen jene ein, die vor dem Feuer flüchten wollten. Mehrere Menschen starben.
Wir wollen die mörderische Flüchtlingspolitik der europäischen Länder nicht hinnehmen und solidarisieren uns mit allen Geflüchteten. Deshalb treffen wir uns heute, Montag 30. September um 19.00 Uhr am Bahnhofplatz in Bern. Kommen und Weiterleiten.

Yunanistan Midilli Adasındaki Moria mülteci yerleşkesi son zamanlarda bir çok farklı kesimin eleştiri merkezi oldu. İnşaa projesi sadece 3.000 insanı barındırmak için olan bu yerleşkede şu an 12.000 insan, hapis hayatını andıran ve insanlık dışı koşullarda yaşamaya mecbur bırakılmıştır. Dün Moria’nın merkezinde çıkan yangın kısa bir süre içinde insanların yaşadığı konteynerlara sıçramış ve insanların kurtarılması yerine, polis kampın giriş-çıkışına barikat kurmuş, kaçmak isteyen insanlara göz yaşartıcı ve sersemletici gaz ayrıca coplarla, yani kaba şiddet uygulayarak müdahalede bulunmuştur. Polisin bu saldırısında birden fazla insan hayatını kaybetmiştir.
Avrupa’nın mültecileri öldüren bu politikasını kabul etmiyoruz ve tüm mültecilerle dayanışıyoruz. Bu sebepten bu akşam Pazartesi, 30.09, saat 19:00da Bern Bahnhofplatz’da protesto için buluşuyoruz.

Hier un incendie à débuté dans le camp de réfugié de Moria sur l iles grecque de Lesbos. La police a attaqué les habitants du camp au lieu de les évacuer. Plusieurs personnes sont mortes.
