EN: Demonstration in front of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) after the suicide of Masoud Ghadiri

Viele Geflüchtete in der Schweiz werden über lange Zeit isoliert und stehen unter sehr viel Druck. So auch Masoud Ghadiri, der vor drei Monaten einen Negativentscheid vom SEM erhalten hat und seither von der Nothilfe leben musste. Eine Ausschaffung in den Iran hätte sein Leben in grosse Gefahr gebracht. Er hat darum sein Leben letzte Woche selbst beendet. Um unsere Wut und Trauer gegenüber der mörderischen Politik des schweizer Asylregimes zu zeigen, treffen wir uns diesen Freitag (11. September) um 12.30 vor dem Staatssekretariat für Migration (SEM). Wir sagen nein zu dieser Entrechtung und Isolation, die Menschen in den Tod treibt! #StopIsolation

Many refugees in Switzerland are isolated for years and are under a lot of pressure. One of them is Masoud Ghadiri, who received a negative decision from the SEM three months ago and has had to live on emergency aid ever since. A deportation to Iran would have put his life in great danger. He therefore ended his life himself last week. In order to show our anger and sadness in the face of the murderous politics of the Swiss asylum regime, we will meet this Friday (September 11th) at 12.30 pm in front of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM). We say no to this disenfranchisement and isolation that drives people to their death! #StopIsolation
