Die Polizei hat in verschiedenen Kantonen dutzende abgewiesene Asylsuchende aus Äthiopien verhaftet. Die Personen wurden in Handschellen in einem abgesperrten Zugwaggon zum Staatssekretariat für Migration (SEM) nach Bern transportiert. Dort wurden sie von äthiopischen Regierungsvertretern – vermutlich vom äthiopische Geheimdienst NISS -befragt. Die schweizer Behörden wollen die etwa 300 Äthiopier*innen, die mit negativem Asylentscheid in der Nothilfe isoliert leben müssen, so schnell wie möglich abschieben.
2018 wurden bisher zwei Personen ausgeschafft. 82 sind aus Angst vor der drohenden Verschleppung untergetaucht. Bundesrätin Simonetta Sommaruga tut seit einem halben Jahr alles, um den bestehenden Ausschaffungsdeal zwischen Äthiopien und der EU für die Schweiz zu übernehmen. Mit den Ausschaffungen nehmen die Behörden Leiden und eventuell sogar Tod bewusst in Kauf. Trotz dem neuen Präsidenten Abiy Ahmed wurden in Äthiopien allein in der vergangenen Woche 58 Menschen getötet und 3000 Jugendliche kollektiv verhaftet.

La police a arrêté des dizaines de demandeurs d’asile déboutés d’Éthiopie dans divers cantons. Les personnes ont été menottées et transportées au Secrétariat d’Etat aux migrations (SEM) à Berne dans un wagon verrouillé. Là, ils ont été interrogés par des représentants du gouvernement éthiopien – vraisemblablement par les services secrets éthiopiens NISS. Les autorités suisses veulent expulser le plus rapidement possible les quelque 300 Ethiopiens* qui vivre actuellement dans l’isolement avec des décisions d’asile négatives dans le cadre de l’aide d’urgence.
En 2018, deux personnes ont été déportées à ce jour. 82 ont disparu dans la clandestinité par crainte de déportation. La Conseillère fédérale Simonetta Sommaruga fait tout ce qui est en son pouvoir depuis six mois pour reprendre l’accord d’expulsion existant entre l’Ethiopie et l’UE pour la Suisse. Avec les déportations, les autorités acceptent consciemment la souffrance et peut-être même la mort. Malgré le nouveau président Abiy Ahmed, 58 personnes ont été tuées et 3 000 jeunes ont été arrêtés collectivement rien que la semaine dernière.

///English///The deportations to Ethiopia will start
Police have arrested dozens of rejected asylum seekers from Ethiopia in various cantons. The persons were handcuffed and transported to the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) in Bern in a locked train carriage. There they were questioned by Ethiopian government representatives – presumably by the Ethiopian secret service NISS. The Swiss authorities want to deport as quickly as possible the approximately 300 Ethiopians* who have to live isolated with negative asylum decisions in emergency aid.
Two persons have been deported so far in 2018. 82 have gone into hiding for fear of being deported. Federal Councillor Simonetta Sommaruga has been doing everything she can for six months to take over the existing deportation deal between Ethiopia and the EU for Switzerland. With the deportations, the authorities are deliberately accepting suffering and possibly even death. Despite the new President Abiy Ahmed, 58 people were killed and 3000 young people collectively arrested in Ethiopia last week alone.

La policía ha detenido a docenas de solicitantes de asilo rechazados procedentes de Etiopía en varios cantones. Las personas fueron esposadas y transportadas a la Secretaría de Estado de Migración (SEM) en Berna en un vagón de tren cerrado con llave. Allí fueron interrogados por representantes del gobierno etíope, presumiblemente por el servicio secreto etíope NISS. Las autoridades suizas quieren deportar lo antes posible a los aproximadamente 300 etíopes* que tienen que vivir aislados con decisiones negativas de asilo en la ayuda de emergencia.
En 2018, dos personas han sido deportadas hasta la fecha. 82 se han sumergido en la clandestinidad por temor a una deportación inminente. La consejera federal Simonetta Sommaruga lleva seis meses haciendo todo lo posible para hacerse cargo del acuerdo de deportación existente entre Etiopía y la UE para Suiza.
